How to change a ringtone on your Android

To change a ringtone on your Android smartphone or tablet, do the following:

• Navigate to Settings from the Home screen

• Next, tap on Sound (on some Android devices it may be “Sound & notifications)

• Now tap on Phone ringtone 

• A list with the ringtones will appear, go through it, tap on the ringtone you want to listen and if you like it tap “Apply” at the bottom of the screen.

Note: If you don’t like the available ringtones, and you already added some music to your device, you will see the “Music” tab next to “Ringtones” tab at the top of the screen. Tap on “Music” find the song you want to set as your ringtone, tap on it and click “Apply” at the bottom of the screen.

You can always get more ringtones, so we may suggest the application called Zedge. You can download it for free from the Play Store. The app comes with a wide range of ringtones, notifications sounds and wallpapers. Just launch the app, tap Ringtones, and if you want a particular song, for example, just type its name in the search box. Next, tap Download. Then, go to “Downloads” section within the app, tap “Ringtones” find the ringtone you want to set, tap on it and then tap “Set” at the bottom of the screen.
